Indeed, the North London outfit are known to have checked on the current situation of both players, and have received information regarding salary and other details required to complete a deal via their agents.

Neto has established himself as a key player for Wolves, and whilst it doesn’t appear that he is angling for a move away, he is open to leaving should the right offer come in to tempt the Midlands-based outfit.

Palace will surely be loathe to then lose Eze too, however, as part of a €120m double deal, the South Londoners may concede that getting market value or higher for their player would offer Oliver Glasner the opportunity to rebuild the Eagles and turn them into a real force in the Premier League.

Arsenal reportedly made tentative contact over the potential transfer of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze earlier this summer, but he’s leaning towards possibly joining Tottenham instead.

That’s according to a report from Football Transfers, who state that Eze is concerned about how much playing time he’d have at the Emirates Stadium, where there’d likely be plenty of competition for a place.

The report even suggests that Fabio Vieira won’t necessarily be on the move this summer, which means he could still have some chance of breaking into Mikel Arteta’s starting line up from time to time, even if it hasn’t been easy for the Portuguese playmaker so far.

If Vieira stays, that probably just further limits the impact Eze could have at Arsenal, so he might do well to hold out for someone like Spurs as an alternative, as they might be more likely to find a key role for him and build their team around him next season.

The 26-year-old has shone at Palace and made it into the England squad for Euro 2024 this summer, even if he couldn’t cement a place in the team.

Tottenham have started their summer transfer business with the signing of Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray.

Ange Postecoglou is set to strengthen his squad again this summer after doing the same last summer and in the January transfer window.

There is an expectation that Spurs will sign attacking players this summer in order to add talent and depth to their squad in the attacking positions.

A wide-attacker seems like their priority this summer and they are keeping an eye on two of Premier League’s most creative players.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are interested in both Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace and Pedro Neto of Wolves.

Romano said on his Playback Live Show that the north London club are interested in Eze and Neto.

“There is appreciation from Spurs for Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace – and also with all of the other options we always mention here like Pedro Neto, this is absolutely confirmed.

“So Tottenham like Eze and like Pedro Neto, and they have decided how much they want to spend in that position. So there is internal conversation, but they will bring in one more player in that position for sure – one more offensive player.”

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Tottenham’s interest in signing the England international midfielder Eze is more advanced than their London rivals Arsenal.

Jacobs said on Last Word on Spurs podcast:

“When one club enquires, every club enquires. As soon as the Euros finish we might see some movement on this one.

“You’re right that Manchester City like this player, but Tottenham are there and I think they’re ahead if you like in terms of how concrete they are that he’s someone they wish to move on than Arsenal who have been linked with Eberechi Eze as well.”

Premier League duo Tottenham and Man United have been dealt a blow in their attempts to sign Eberechi Eze as Crystal Palace are very confident of keeping hold of the England international.

The London club finished last season strong under the leadership of their new coach Oliver Glasner and want to keep the majority of their squad together to push forward in the Premier League during the upcoming campaign.

Palace have already lost Michael Olise to Bayern Munich as part of a €60m deal and that should be enough to fund a summer of spending at Selhurst Park.

As a result, Glasner does not want to lose England duo Eze and Marc Guehi, with Football Insider reporting that Crystal Palace are now determined to keep hold of the two key players.

It would require a bid between £50-60m for a club to sign Eze, reports Football Insider, with Tottenham and Man United two of the main teams in the race for the Englishman.
