Tottenham celebrated a significant victory against Aston Villa last week, narrowing the points gap to just 2 with a game in hand, thanks to an outstanding performance from club captain Heung-min Son.
Son not only scored a goal but also provided two assists, playing a pivotal role in Spurs’ 4-0 win.
However, a new footage circulating on X has caught attention, showing an incident involving Son and his teammate Guglielmo Vicario during the game.
In the 84th minute, Vicario courageously blocked a shot from Zaniolo, resulting in an injury as the Aston Villa player landed on him. Medical staff rushed to attend to Vicario, who appeared to suffer a blow to his head.
What happened between Son and Vicario?
The now viral footage shows Son urging Vicario to leave the pitch due to the head injury, but Vicario insisted on staying on.
Son, visibly frustrated, approached Vicario and appeared to punch him on the shoulders in a moment of agitation. Bissouma, witnessing the scene, intervened and pulled Son away.

Fortunately, Vicario was able to get back on his feet after a few minutes. Following the match, both players embraced, with Vicario even kissing Son on the forehead, indicating no hard feelings between them.
When it’s Spurs, a NUDGE is a punch? What a load of sensationalized nonsense
