A number of MLAs from the CM Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena have found themselves embroiled in a controversy after audio clips where they are heard abusing individuals have been put out in public domain.

A number of MLAs from the CM Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena have found themselves embroiled in a controversy after audio clips where they are heard abusing individuals have been put out in public domain. The most recent entrant to this list has been three-time Mehkar MLA Sanjay Raimulkar who was recorded abusing an activist from his constituency. Raimulkar’s verbal assault comes a week after his colleague Pachora MLA Kishor Patil abused a journalist during a telephonic conversation.

THE SILENCE from the BJP and Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena on the Supreme Court granting bail to NCP MLA Nawab Malik is haunting many BJP loyalists. Malik was allegedly targeted by the BJP and Sena, linking him to criminal Dawood Ibrahim. In a changed political equation where the NCP led by Ajit Pawar is sharing power with the BJP, the latter’s spokespersons who talk on every issue are now simply pointing fingers to the court.
