Crystal Palace are facing a tough decision over Marc Guehi’s future with multiple Premier League clubs interested in the England international according to reports.

Guehi was one of England’s best performers at Euro 2024 as the Three Lions came up agonisingly short against Spain in the final.

The 24-year-old’s performances for England are likely to have increased his value, with Palace believed to want in the region of £65m for the centre back.

Palace face Guehi headache

Any potential sale would see Palace make a huge profit given they signed Guehi for £18m from Chelsea in 2021.

The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal have reportedly all shown interest in the past.

Palace will be desperate to keep hold of Guehi having seen Michael Olise leave for Bayern Munich, and Journalist Dean Jones has said that Chelsea and Liverpool are the ones to watch in the race.

Marc Guehi in action for England.
Guehi is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

“Arsenal, Man United and Spurs have all had an eye on Guehi since last year and his performances for England are going to cause Crystal Palace bosses a bit of a headache because his status has been on the rise this summer and it would be no surprise to see other clubs also having a look,” Jones told GIVEMESPORT.

“But, in turn, his value is going up too, so who is going to pay upwards of £60million for him in the coming weeks? They have every reason to expect £65 million for him in the current market.

“Chelsea and Liverpool are two clubs to pay some attention to as the player now refocuses and considers what he wants next in his career. His ambition will be heightened.”

Whilst Guehi would likely be a welcome addition at Stamford Bridge there simply isn’t space for him in the current squad unless someone departs, with Trevoh Chalobah the most likely candidate to do so.

A move to Liverpool would make sense given Virgil van Dijk’s future is unclear and they are also in the market for a replacement for Joel Matip.

Arsenal have rejected bids from Crystal Palace and Fulham for Emile Smith Rowe according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

It’s been a quiet transfer window for the Gunners so far as the club look to strengthen a squad that narrowly missed out on the Premier League title to Manchester City last season.

Mikel Arteta’s side are trying to wrap up a deal for Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori but a fee between the two clubs seems to be a stumbling point, whilst several fringe players have departed the club.

Arsenal reject Smith-Rowe bids

Smith Rowe, who came through the Arsenal academy is a player this is expected to leave the Emirates this summer in search of more regular first team football.

Sky Sports reporter Sheth has stated that Crystal Palace and Fulham have had bids rejected for Smith-Rowe with discussions taking place at both clubs about whether to return with an improved offer.

He took to X.com and said:

“BREAKING: Arsenal reject bids from Fulham & Crystal Palace for forward Emile Smith Rowe.

“Discussions ongoing at both clubs over whether to go back in with improved offer.

“Smith Rowe wants to assess all options – regular first team football is primary motivation. #AFC #FFC #CPFC.”

The 23-year-old has been at Arsenal since the age of ten, and had a breakout season under Arteta during the 2020/2021 campaign, but injuries have severely limited his minutes over the past two yeas.

Smith Rowe is out of contract at the Emirates in 2026, but with a new deal highly unlikely, this summer represents the best chance for Arsenal to get the highest fee possible.

The academy graduate made 19 appearances last season in all competitions, but played a total of just 475 minuted and failed to find the back of the net.

A move to Crystal Palace could be exciting given what Oliver Glasner seems to be building at Selhurst Park with exciting players like Eberechi Eze and Daichi Kamada who has just joined the club this summer.

Now the Euros and the Copa America are over things should start to heat up in the transfer market as pre-season begins and the start of the season draws closer.

Wilfried Zaha could be set for a return to the Premier League this summer with Galatasaray prepared to sell the winger according to reports.

Special Offer for England Fans – Get Fabrizio Romano’s Premium Transfer Newsletter FREE for a YEAR (normally £60)!

Zaha left Crystal Palace last summer and joined the Turkish giants on a free transfer, where he signed a three deal and earns a reported £300,000 per week.

The 31-year-old performed well last season as me made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring ten goals and providing five assists as Galatasaray won the Turkish title.

Zaha could return to the Premier League this summer

The Daily Mirror report that the Turkish club could be willing to let the former Palace man leave for a cut price deal as they can no longer afford his wages due to the current financial situation at the club.

The report adds that officials at Galatasaray have told Palace and other Premier League sides that Zaha is available and officially on the market.

Wilfried Zaha in action for Galatasaray.
Zaha could be in line for a shock return to the Premier League this summer.

Palace along with Wolves and West Ham are believed to be the three English clubs interested in a potential move, but Zaha would have to take a drop in wages to secure a move to any of those clubs.

The Daily Mirror adds that if Zaha doesn’t want to take a pay cut Galatasaray could opt to pay him off and he would then be able to leave for free.

It’s unclear how interested Oliver Glasner would be in bringing Zaha back to Selhurst Park, but with Michael Olise seemingly Bayern Munich bound and a host of clubs interested in England international Eberechi Eze, a return to the Eagles would certainly be a crowd pleaser.

Palace have boosted their attacking options this summer already with the addition of attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada on a free transfer from Serie A side Lazio.

The Eagles will also be desperate to keep hold of Marc Guehi who is starring for England at Euro 2024, and Palace have reportedly set an asking price in the region of £65m.

Eddie Nketiah is very likely to leave Arsenal this summer according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

The Gunners are in the market for a striker as they look for a regular source of goals that they hope will see them win a first Premier League title in over 20 years next season.

Arsenal were strongly linked with Benjamin Sesko before he decided to stay at RB Leipzig, and they have also been linked with Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, but it appears one striker will be leaving the Emirates this summer.

Nketiah expected to leave Arsenal this summer

Nketiah has struggled at Arsenal and only scored five Premier League goals last season, with three of those coming against bottom club Sheffield United.

The 25-year-old made 37 appearances in all competitions last season and played a total of 1416 minutes.

It appears first team minutes are going to becoming increasingly more difficult to come by for Nketiah and Sheth has reported he is very likely to leave this summer if a club comes in for him.

Eddie Nketiah in action for Arsenal.
Nketiah is expected to leave Arsenal this summer with the club reportedly valuing him at £50m.

“If you add to that, that Eddie Nketiah is very likely to move on from Arsenal this summer, then there will be not least squad space for them to bring someone like that in,” he told GIVEMESPORT.

“There have been all sorts of links; we know about the link with Benjamin Sesko, but he signed a new contract with RB Leipzig, and the link with Viktor Gyokeres doesn’t go away either from Sporting Lisbon.”

The Gunners have reportedly set an asking price of £50m for Nketiah which is unlikely to attract many suitors.

The likes of Crystal Palace, Wolves and Fulham have been linked with a move for Nketiah, but at a reported £50m there’s little chance they will try and complete a deal.

If Nketiah does depart that leaves Arsenal with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus as their forward options so reinforcements would certainly be required.

Michael Olise chose to join Bayern Munich because of Champions League football and the chance to work with Vincent Kompany according to reports.

Olise was a man in demand this summer, and it had been reported that Chelsea were ahead in the race for his signature, with the likes of Newcastle, Bayern and Manchester United also interested.

However, it was reported last week that Chelsea had pulled out of a deal for the 22-year-old as they believed the finances involved were beyond their reach, with Olise telling Crystal Palace a move to Bayern would be his preference.

Olise chose Bayern after conversations with Kompany

Bayern are now expected to agree a deal with Palace, which would see Olise join one of the biggest club’s in world football, and give him a chance to showcase his talents in the Champions League.

The Telegraph reports that despite interest from the likes of Chelsea and United, Olise made his mind up after conversations with Kompany and executives at Bayern.

Olise is set to join Bayern Munich this summer.

The report adds that the decision wasn’t financially motived, and his connection with Kompany, and Bayern’s track record of success were all key factors behind his imminent switch to the Bundesliga.

The Telegraph added that Kompany had reached an understanding with the Frenchman over the vision he has for the team and the style he wishes to implement.

Olise showed last season why he is one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe as he scored ten goals and provided six assists in just 19 Premier League appearances.

Whilst the full finances of the deal aren’t clear yet, Palace are in line to make a huge profit on a player they signed for £8m from Reading three years ago.

Olise is set to feature at the Olympic games this summer, and won’t join up with his potential new team-mates until after the tournament in France.

Michael Olise has chosen to join Bayern Munich after Chelsea pulled out of a deal to sign the Crystal Palace winger.

Olise has been a man in demand this summer with Newcastle and Manchester United also expressing an interest, but The Athletic report he has chosen Bayern as his next destination and they are now expected to agree a deal with Palace.

Chelsea and Newcastle were both given permission by Palace to speak to Olise’s representatives, but the 22-year-old will be heading to the Bundesliga this summer.

Olise chooses Bayern Munich

Chelsea, who came very close to signing Olise last summer, were reportedly leading the race for the Frenchman, who was believed to be open to the move, but The Athletic report the Blues pulled out of a deal after deciding the finances involved were beyond their reach.

Some reports suggested Olise wanted to be the highest paid player at the club, with the Blues looking to reduce their wage bill, with The Athletic adding if a transfer target doesn’t fit into their existing structure they would rather “reward the existing players at the club who out perform over time or invest in new elite talent on more reasonable salaries.”

Olise has chosen to join Bayern Munich this summer.

Olise joined Crystal Palace from Reading in 2021 and has made 90 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals and providing 25 assists during his time at Selhurst Park.

The winger impressed last season with ten goals and six assists in just 19 Premier League appearances, and he is now set for a new chapter in Germany with one of the biggest clubs in the world, and will play regular Champions League football.

Chelsea will now look elsewhere as they aim to add attacking reinforcements to their squad, and are currently deciding whether to sign Jhon Duran or Samu Omorodion as their new striker.

Eberechi Eze insists the England camp is “staying calm” following an underwhelming start to Euro 2024.

Gareth Southgate’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Denmark on Thursday night in what was a really poor showing in Frankfurt.

Despite taking the lead through Harry Kane, Morten Hjulmand’s brilliant strike levelled the scores, as England sat back, dropped deeper and deeper and just invited pressure onto themselves.

Eze insists now is the time to stay calm

England do sit top of the group with four points and have all but qualified for the knockout stages, but the manner of their performances have left cause for concern.

It was a slow start against Serbia, which can be overlooked due to it being the first game of the tournament, but many were expecting an improvement against the Danes and it simply didn’t happen.

England looked lethargic, didn’t press, got over run in midfield and were second best tactically to Denmark.

Eze insists England remain calm following underwhelming start to Euro 2024.

Gareth Southgate will face serious questions over his ability to get the best out of these players, but Eze insists now is the time to remain calm.

“I’d say we’re staying calm, we know the potential we’ve got,” Eze said in quotes picked up by The Evening Standard.

“We’re building, we’re getting towards the level that we know we can play at.

“Ultimately, we’ve got four points and there’s more to improve. No stress, we’re not panicking.

“Tournament football is a rollercoaster. This is my first one but that’s what [the other players are] all saying. As long as you stay calm and positive, you’ll be fine.”

Eze, at his first major tournament got his first taste of action against Denmark as he came off the bench, and will be hoping for another opportunity to impress against Slovenia on Tuesday night, with England in desperate need of a positive performance.

Chelsea are weighing up whether to offer defender Trevoh Chalobah as part of a swap deal for Michael Olise according to reports.

The Blues have identified Olise as their main transfer target this summer and are pushing hard to sign the 22-year-old.

Chelsea almost signed the winger last summer when they activated his then £35m release clause, but the deal fell through with Palace unhappy at how Olise was approached.

Chelsea consider using Chalobah as part of Olise deal

Olise ended up signing a new contract with the Eagles which saw his release clause increase to in the region of £60m.

This hasn’t put Chelsea off and they have once again returned this summer to try and complete a deal for the Frenchman.

The Blues along with Newcastle and Bayern Munich have been given permission by Palace to speak to Olise’s representatives over a possible deal.

Trevoh Chalobah celebrates scoring for Chelsea.
Chelsea are reportedly considering using Chalobah as part of a swap deal for Olise.

Olise’s release clause is thought to be complicated in it’s nature due to his former club Reading being owed part of it as well as Palace and the player himself.

One option for Chelsea could be to include a player as part of the deal and GIVEMESPORT report they are considering using Chalobah as a makeweight.

The report adds that Palace have identified Chalobah as a possible option, with Chelsea known to be open to moving him on this summer.

The Blues are reportedly leading the race for the Frenchman, but will be aware other club’s are in the race, and they will need to convince Olise Stamford Bridge is the best place for him despite a lack of Champions League football.

Olise is set to represent France at the Olympics and will no doubt want his future resolved before then, with staying at Selhurst Park for another season a possibility which can’t be ruled out, and Palace are believed to have offered him a new contract which would see his release clause become higher.

Manchester United are preparing a player plus cash offer for Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi according to reports, as they look to strengthen their defensive options.

Guehi is currently with the England squad at Euro 2024 and put in an impressive performance alongside John Stones as the Three Lions beat Serbia 1-0 on Sunday night to get off to a winning start.

The 23-year-old is expected to be subject to interest this summer, and has been linked with a move to Liverpool and a return to Chelsea in the past.

United prepare player plus cash deal for Guehi

United are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer following the departure of Raphael Varane, whilst there are still doubts over the future of Harry Maguire.

The Red Devils have identified Jarrad Branthwaite as their priority target and saw an opening bid of £35m rejected, which is way short of Everton’s £70m valuation.

Lille’s Leny Yoro and Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt are viewed as alternatives, but it’s believed Yoro favours a move to Real Madrid, whilst De Ligt won’t decide his future until after the Euros.

Marc Guehi in action for England.
Man United are reportedly preparing a player plus cash deal for Guehi this summer.

However, TEAMtalk have reported United are targeting Guehi and are preparing to offer former Palace player Aaron Wan-Bissaka plus cash in an attempt to land the England international.

United are reportedly working on a low initial budget this summer that they will look to raise through selling Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Casemiro, so they may have to get creative with their deals by including players.

Guehi has two years remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park and The Telegraph reported Palace are planning to hold talks with the defender over a new deal, and will demand more than £65m if he tells the club he wants to leave.

TEAMtalk adds that Guehi would be open to joining the Old Trafford outfit, but the Eagles will do everything they can to keep hold of one of their star players to give them the best chance of success heading into the new season.

Crystal Palace hope to keep hold of Marc Guehi, but will demand more than £65m if he asks to leave according to reports.

Guehi is currently with the England squad at Euro 2024 and put in an impressive display alongside John Stones as the Three Lions started their campaign with a 1-0 win against Serbia on Sunday evening.

The Palace star has two years currently remaining on his contract, and has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool as well as a return to Chelsea.

Palace to demand more than £65m for Guehi

The Telegraph report that Palace are wary of allowing the 23-year-old to enter into the final year of his contract and are planning talks over a new deal, which they hope will see Guehi stay at Selhurst Park for one more season.

If Guehi has a good Euros he will no doubt attract more suitors from the Premier League and possibly abroad.

The report adds that if Palace fail in their talks to convince Guehi to sign a new deal they won’t entertain any offers under £65m for the England international having seen what Everton value Jarrad Branthwaite at.

Marc Guehi in action for Crystal Palace.
Palace will reportedly demand £65m for Guehi this summer.

The Toffees are believed to value the 21-year-old at around £70m so a similar valuation for Guehi seems fair given he’s more experienced and arguably performing at a higher level.

Palace finished the season strongly under new boss Oliver Glasner as they secured a top half finish, having looked like they could be in a relegation scrap when he replaced Roy Hodgson in the second half of the season.

The Eagles are facing interest from top clubs for a number of their stars with Michael Olise strongly linked with a move away, whilst there are also teams interested in England international Eberechi Eze.

If Palace can keep hold of most of their top players and make some good signings they could certainly be in with an outside chance of qualifying for European football next season.
