Newcastle have expressed an interest in signing Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry, but the winger doesn’t want to leave the German giants according to reports.

The Magpies are set for a busy summer as they look to strengthen Eddie Howe’s squad ahead of the new season, with the club looking to get back into Europe.

They have so far signed Lloyd Kelly and John Ruddy on free transfers, whilst Greek international Odysseas Vlachodimos has arrived from Nottingham Forest.

Gnabry won’t be joining Newcastle

Newcastle are in the market for attacking reinforcements, and are looking to add a new winger to their squad.

Question marks surround the future of Miguel Almiron who is thought to be close to a move to the Saudi Pro League, and Newcastle are believed to hold interest in Leeds star Crysencio Summerville, whilst there’s also reportedly admiration for West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen.

Newcastle were one of the clubs interested in Michael Olise but the Frenchman ended up joining Bayern Munich.

However, Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has reported that Howe’s side are interested in Gnabry, but the 29-year-old wants to honour his contract in Munich.

He took to X.com and said:

“Rumors about a possible transfer of Serge #Gnabry to @NUFC are wide of mark. Newcastle are interested but Gnabry won’t join #NUFC, and the 29 y/o still has no intention of leaving FC Bayern as he wants to stay. Contract valid until 2026.”

The arrival of Olise could see Gnabry’s minutes reduced, but it seems he wants to stay and fight for his place under Vincent Kompany rather than play regular football at somewhere like Newcastle.

Summerville would likely represent a good option for Newcastle, and the 22-yea-old who scored 19 goals in the Championship last season is believed to be available for around £30m.

The Magpies are also facing the possibility of looking for a new manager with Howe one of a number of names under consideration to become the next England boss.

Newcastle are one of a number of Premier League clubs who have expressed an interest in signing Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville according to Ben Jacobs.

The Magpies are looking to strengthen in the wide areas with Miguel Almiron expected to swap St James’ Park for the Saudi Pro League, whilst the club are said to hold an interest in Jarrod Bowen and Noni Madueke, although any deal for either player would be difficult to do.

Newcastle have so far signed Lloyd Kelly on a free transfer to bolster their defensive ranks whist goalkeepers John Ruddy and Odysseas Vlachodimos have also joined the club.

Newcastle interested in Summerville

Newcastle currently have Harvey Barnes and Anthony Gordon on the left, but Almiron’s potential departure would leave them with a void to fill on the right hand side.

Jacobs has reported that the Magpies are interested in Leeds star Summerville, who is predominantly a left winger, who can also play down the right.

“There is interest in him (Summerville),” he told GIVEMESPORT.

Crysencio Summerville in action for Leeds.
Newcastle are the latest Premier League club to express an interest in Summerville.

“We know Brighton have taken a look. We know that he could still be on Chelsea’s radar, Newcastle are also interested in the player.

“So it will still be a big surprise if between now and the end of the window, given how many clubs want players in his position, it will be a surprise if somebody doesn’t make a formal offer for Summerville.

“Then ultimately, Leeds will speak to the player, and they’ll have a big decision to make. But if there are exits at Leeds, it will be because it suits all parties, rather than because Leeds are scrambling, financially speaking, or are forced to sell.”

Summerville was brilliant for Leeds last season and scored 19 league goals and provided nine assists in 43 league appearances, which saw him named Championship Player of the Year, and the winger is clearly good enough to be playing in the Premier League.

Leeds have already sold teenage star Archie Gray to Tottenham, whilst Wilfried Gnonto is attracting interest from Everton.

If Newcastle were able to add Summerville to their ranks they would certainly have a young and exciting crop of wingers to choose from next season.

Newcastle have offered winger Harvey Barnes as part of swap deal for Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen according to reports.

Having made sure they are compliant with profit and sustainability rules through the sales of Yankuba Minteh to Brighton and Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forest the Magpies can now concentrate on strengthening their squad.

Newcastle have so far signed defender Lloyd Kelly on a free from Bournemouth and goalkeeper John Ruddy and Odysseas Vlachodimos, whilst Lewis Hall’s loan move from Chelsea has become permanent.

Newcastle eye swap deal for Christensen

Eddie Howe’s side are looking to return to European football having missed out last season due to Manchester United winning the FA Cup.

The Magpies have been targeting defensive reinforcements, and despite signing Kelly they missed out on Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea, and are reportedly in the market for another centre back.

Harvey Barnes celebrates scoring for Newcastle.
Barnes’ first season with Newcastle was disrupted by injuries.

According to Spanish website El Nacional Newcastle have identified Barcelona defender Christensen as a target, with Hansi Flick believed not to view him as a key player.

The report adds that the Magpies are keen to offer Barnes, who only joined the club last summer as part of the deal with Barcelona known to be in the market for a new winger.

Christensen has two years remaining on his current deal with the Catalan giants and is reportedly keen to leave the club following the departure of Xavi Hernandez.

It would certainly feel strange if Newcastle were prepared to offload Barnes after just one season and 23 appearances for the club, especially as they themselves are looking to add another winger to the squad this summer.

Miguel Almiron looks set to leave the club and move to the Saudi Pro League and two names believed to be under consideration are West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen and Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, with both deals likely to be very difficult to do.

West Ham star Jarrod Bowen has no interest in joining Newcastle this summer despite interest from the Magpies according to reports.

Bowen, who is currently with the England squad at Euro 2024 had a brilliant season for the Hammers scoring 16 Premier League goals as West Ham secured a top half finish.

The England international is under contract at the London Stadium until 2030, but his performances have attracted the interest of a number of clubs including Newcastle and Liverpool.

Bowen not interested in joining Newcastle

Having made sure they are compliant with profit and sustainability rules through the sales of Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson the Magpies can now turn their full attention to strengthening a squad which missed out on European football last season.

Newcastle are known to be in the market for attacking reinforcements and the likes of Bowen and Chelsea’s Noni Madueke are believed to be two names under consideration.

Bowen joined West Ham from Hull City in 2020 and has gone on to establish himself as a key player for the Hammers making 202 appearances to date, scoring 60 goals and providing 39 assists.

Jarrod Bowen celebrates scoring for West Ham.
Bowen is attracting interest from Newcastle this summer.

HITC report that Bowen is happy at the London Stadium and is “uninterested” in a move to St James’ Park, and even a lucrative offer from the north east wouldn’t tempt him.

With Miguel Almiron looking set to join the Saudi Pro League Newcastle have identified the 27-year-old as one of their main targets.

HITC add that the Hammers would likely ask for a fee of more than £100m for the former Hull star, and that sort of figure is almost certainly beyond the realms of possibility for Newcastle.

Eddie Howe’s side will likely have to turn to alternative options in their pursuit for a right winger, and a move for Madueke will seemingly be difficult as well with Chelsea unlikely to want to part ways with England under-21 international.

Tottenham are ahead of Newcastle in the race for Wolves star Pedro Neto as he’s attracted by the prospect of Europa League football according to reports.

Spurs are looking to strengthen a squad which missed out on Champions League football last season and have added talented teenager Archie Gray to their ranks from Leeds, whilst they have also extended Timo Werner’s loan move from RB Leipzig.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are known to be looking for more attacking reinforcements and have identified Neto as a target.

Tottenham ahead of Newcastle in the race for Neto

Neto has been one of Wolves’ best players over the years, but injury issues limited him to 24 appearances in all competitions last season, and he scored three goals and provided 11 assists.

Wolves know they are likely going to have to sell one or more of their key players this summer, but having sold Max Kilman to West Ham in a deal worth £40m they may not be under as much pressure to part ways with Neto.

The 24-year-old can now fully focus on his future following Portugal’s elimination from Euro 2024 and is attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

Pedro Neto in action for Wolves.
Tottenham and Newcastle are two of the Premier League clubs interested in Neto.

GIVEMESPORT report that Spurs have the edge over Newcastle in the race for the Portugal international because they can offer Europa League football, whilst the opportunity to live in London is also thought to be attractive.

The report adds that two other Premier League clubs have been made aware of Neto’s availability and could make a move before the season starts.

GIVEMESPORT state that Neto’s agent Jorge Mendes could look to create a bidding war for his client amongst potential suitors.

Wolves are thought to value the Portuguese at around £60m and it’s likely any opening bid from Tottenham would be below that mark as they look to test the waters.

Spurs are also thought to be interested in Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and it would seem unlikely they would go in for both players, so they will seemingly have a decision to make.

Manchester City could still make a move for Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes even though his £100m release clause has expired, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

City have been quiet in the window so far but are set to sign Brazilian winger Savio from La Liga outfit Girona for a reported fee in the region of €30m.

Pep Guardiola’s side will no doubt further strengthen their squad as they look to win a record breaking fifth Premier League title in a row and a second Champions League title.

City could still move for Guimaraes

City are also looking to offload a number of stars and have already sold Tommy Doyle to Wolves and Taylor Harwood-Bellis to Southampton.

The club are reportedly looking to find new homes for the likes of Kalvin Phillips, who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham and Joao Cancelo who was on loan at Barcelona for the last campaign.

Guardiola’s side could look to strengthen in midfield given the likely departure of Phillips, and the struggles of Matheus Nunes following his move from Wolves last summer.

Bruno Guimaraes applauds Newcastle fans.
Manchester City could still make a move for Guimaraes this summer.

However, in his column for GIVEMESPORT Jacobs has reported that City could still make a move for Guimaraes even though his £100m release clause has expired.

He adds that City never intended to trigger the release clause or make an offer close to it, but they could try their luck with a bid around the £80m mark.

The Brazil international has been brilliant for the Magpies following his move from French side Lyon in 2022, and his performances are attracting interest from some of Europe’s big hitters.

The 26-year-old signed a new five year contract last October keeping him at St James’ Park until 2028.

Whilst the Brazilian appears happy in the north east, if an offer came in from City it’s unclear how he would respond to it and whether he would force a move away.

Guimaraes in the City midfield alongside the likes of Rodri is some prospect, but the likelihood of that happening any time soon is slim as things stand.

Newcastle officials were spotted watching Turkish defender Ferdi Kadıoğlu in action at Euro 2024 according to reports.

Having made sure they were compliant with profit and sustainability rules by selling winger Yankuba Minteh and midfielder Elliot Anderson the Magpies can now turn their attention to strengthening their squad.

There have been no significant arrivals to date with Lloyd Kelly and John Ruddy arriving on free transfers, whilst Greek goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos has made the move from Nottingham Forest.

Newcastle watch Kadıoğlu

The Magpies are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and despite bringing Kelly in they are believed to be targeting more defenders.

Turkish Football have reported that Newcastle had scouts present at Turkey’s Euro 2024 quarter final against the Netherlands and they were keeping a close eye on Kadıoğlu.

The report adds that scouts from Arsenal and Napoli were watching the defender who is believed to be valued at €30m, whilst Brighton and Borussia Dortmund have also been strongly linked with making a move.

Ferdi Kadıoğlu in action for Fenerbahce.
Kadıoğlu impressed for Turkey at Euro 2024.

The 24-year-old has impressed for Turkey at the tournament and currently plays his club football with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, who are now managed by Jose Mourinho.

Kadıoğlu is a versatile player who can operate at both left and right back as well as in midfield and that versatility could certainly appeal to Eddie Howe.

Full back is definatley an area the Magpies could strengthen in given Kieran Trippier isn’t getting any younger and the likes of Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall are still young.

Newcastle are also looking to strengthen their attacking options and are the latest club to be linked with Lille’s Jonathan David as they look to bring in a new striker having failed to agree personal terms with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-lewin.

Miguel Almiron appears to be heading to the Saudi Pro League so right wing is an area Newcastle are looking to add reinforcements with Chelsea’s Noni Madueke a name under consideration.

Newcastle have become the latest Premier League club to express an interest in Lille striker Jonathan David according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Magpies are known to be in the market for a striker with Callum Wilson looking likely to leave St James’ Park this summer.

Eddie Howe’s side have so far signed Lloyd Kelly and John Ruddy on free transfers and Greek international Odysseas Vlachodimos from Nottingham Forest, whilst Lewis Hall’s loan move from Chelsea has become permanent.

Newcastle interested in David

Newcastle are looking to add more fire power to their squad to complement Alexander Isak as they look to qualify for European football next season.

The Magpies were linked with a move for Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin earlier in the window but a move for the 27-year-old failed to materialise after personal terms couldn’t be agreed.

In his column for GIVEMESPORT, Jacobs has reported that Newcastle still want to bring a striker in this window, and it will become a more urgent matter if Wilson departs.

Jonathan David in action for Lille.
Newcastle are the latest club to express an interest in David.

Jacobs states that Wilson is “under consideration” at West Ham, although that could change given their pursuit of Jhon Duran, whilst he also has interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Lille striker David is coveted by a number of Premier League clubs and Jacobs has added that the Magpies are the latest Premier League club to express an interest in the Canada international who could be available for around £25m, but they face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.

David would represent a great value for money option in the market and is a proven goalscorer having scored 84 goals in 183 appearances for Lille.

Newcastle are also looking to strengthen at right wing with Miguel Almiron looking like he could be heading to the Saudi Pro League, and Chelsea’s Noni Madueke is an option under consideration, although how likely a move is remains to be seen, whilst the Magpies are also big fans of West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen.

Fulham are leading the race for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay with Newcastle, West Ham and Southampton also interested according to reports.

United are set for a busy summer, and a number of players are expected to be moved on, including the likes of Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho and Casemiro as they look to raise funds and free up space in the squad.

McTominay has seen his game time at Old Trafford lessen following the emergence of Kobbie Mainoo, and he was the subject of interest from West Ham last summer, but ended up staying at United.

The 27-year-old has made 352 appearances for the Red Devils, but is thought to be one of the players the club are happy to sell this summer.

The Scotland international has popped up with a number of important late goals for United, including an injury time double against Brentford and both goals in the win against Chelsea last season.

McTominay scored ten goals in 43 appearances in all competitions last summer, but is out of contract in 2025, with United running the risk of losing him on a free if they opt against selling the Scot this summer.

McTominay is attracting interest from four Premier League clubs.

Manchester World report that four Premier League clubs are interested in the midfielder’s services with Fulham believed to be leading the way, with Newcastle, West Ham and newly promoted Southampton also interested.

The report adds that Fulham are leading the way for McTominay with Marco Silva keen on pairing him with former team-mate Andreas Pereira at Craven Cottage, and a bid is expected soon.

West Ham had an offer rejected last summer, and Manchester World adds their interest is believed to have cooled.

Following Scotland’s early elimination from Euro 2024, McTominay is expected to play a full part in United’s pre-season tour of America.

United are targeting moves for Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee, whilst they also have interest in  Manuel Ugarte and Jarrad Branthwaite.
