Video: Jurgen Klopp reacts as Man United fans taunt former Liverpool manager on holiday

Posted by

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp explained that when he was set to leave his job at Anfield it was because he had run out of energy, so he certainly deserves a well-earned break on his holidays this summer.

However, some Manchester United fans can be seen in the video clip below taunting the ex-Reds boss while he tries to relax in Magaluf, Spain…

Klopp reacted by attempting to push the camera phone away from him, and it’s clear he didn’t seem happy with the chants of “United” at him, and whatever else we might not have seen taking place off-camera.

While a bit of banter between managers, players and rival fans is all well and good, it seems these particular United fans crossed a bit of a line by harassing Klopp like this and trying to provoke him into an angry reaction whilst capturing it on video.

Klopp didn’t have the best end to his time at Liverpool as his side suffered a late blip towards the end of the 2023/24 campaign, finishing third in the Premier League table and failing to keep up with Manchester City and Arsenal in the title race.

The German tactician is now without a club and has been replaced by Arne Slot at Liverpool, with the Dutchman arriving after doing impressive work at Feyenoord.

  1. What will our fans call new Liverpool manager Slot. I can guess a few names but I won’t put them on here.
    Come on United.
