According to the Sun, the wife of Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez, Rita, flirted with world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at London club Tape on Friday.
The Sun claim that the 26-year-old model and singer was seen with her hand on the knee of Joshua. The Sun add that Mahrez and his wife have agreed a trial split, with the pair currently living 200 miles apart.
This news comes only a month after the Sun reported that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder flirted with Rita.
Mahrez’s wife seems to have been in the public eye a fair bit recently, the Sun also revealed that Rita was involved in a heated row with the girlfriend of Riyad’s Manchester City teammate, Leroy Sane.
Anthony Joshua recently reclaimed his world heavyweight titles after defeating Mexican-American Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia at the start of the month.
The Sun also add that Joshua shunned Rita once he learned that she was Riyad’s wife, the Sun’s source claimed that the superstar boxer didn’t wish to step on anyone’s toes.
Joshua seems like a class act in an outside the ring. Lesser men would’ve acted less respectfully if they were in a similar situation.
We’ve got nothing but respect for Riyad Mahrez, details of his personal life being in the public eye don’t seem to have affected his performances on the pitch.
