Instagram now lets you join in the fun with creators: How to use latest features

1. Open the Instagram app on your phone and tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen.

2. Select the photos you want to share from your gallery or take new ones with the camera to create a carousel.

3. Tap Add music at the top of the screen. You can select a song from the list or search for a song in our music library.

4. Use the sliding bar at the bottom to choose which part of the song you want to play with your photo. You can also adjust the volume and duration of the music.

5. Tap Done and then Next to add a caption, location, and other options. Then tap Share to post your photo with music.

How to collaborate with 2+ people

Another new feature is Collabs, which lets users invite up to three friends to co-author a feed post, carousel or reel. The collaborators will share the credit and the reach of the content, which will appear on each account’s profile grid. Both private and public accounts can use this feature, as long as they follow each other.

1. When publishing your post, tap Tag people.

2. Select Invite collaborators.

3. Search for the accounts you wish to add as collaborators and select them.

4. Tap Done. If they accept the collaboration, your post will be shared with their followers.

How to use the new Add Yours sticker

The third new feature is the Add Yours sticker, which enables creators and artists to invite their followers to join in on a fun prompt or challenge they create on Reels. The creator or artist can select their favourite submissions from their followers and showcase them on their Reel.

1. If you see a sticker on a Reel with a sticker that says Add yours, tap it.

2. You’ll be taken to a page showcasing Reels from other people have joined in the fun.

3. Tap the Add yours option at the bottom of the page to record your own Reel.

4. The followers will get notified if their Reel is chosen, and others can watch it by tapping on the Add Yours sticker.
