Made in Heaven is all set for its second season’s grand premiere on August 10 on Amazon Prime Video but a few got to see the much-awaited web series a little earlier than others at its special premiere.

Last night, the cast and crew of the web show were seen under one roof as they got together for a screening night. Directors Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Alankrita Shrivastava, Nitya Mehra, and Neeraj Ghaywan were seen with actors Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Mona Singh, Trinetra Haldar, Ishwar Singh, and Vijay Raaz.

A few guests like Dia Mirza, Shibani Dandekar, Shabana Azmi, Shahana Goswami, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma also made it to the night.

Actor Sobhita Dhulipala looked stunning at the event. Dia Mirza was seen in a black saree as she posed with Made In Heaven creator Zoya Akhtar. Farhan Akhtar’s wife Shibani Dandekar was seen in an all-blue ensemble. Shabana Azmi also made it to the night, dressed in black.

Actor Sanjay Kapoor and his friends Neelam Kothari and Samir Soni, who will be debuting in the second season of the series, were also present for the event.

Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Made in Heaven was one of the biggest OTT hits of 2019 and in an earlier interview, Zoya was asked about the four-year gap and if she was worried about sustaining the audience’s interest after this long gap. Zoya then told Film Companion that the show’s production was first hit due to the pandemic as the “whole world lost the momentum”. She also added that the team was “concerned” about sustaining audience’s interest and shared, “We were very worried about audience’s interest and will it sustain? But we wanted to put our best foot out there if we were doing it and hopefully, they will be back.”
